Don Manders called meeting to order at 7:20 pm
Present:, Don Manders, Dave Cook, Lori Heldt, Ken Krider
Guests: Dallas Howard, Joe Reynolds, Bruce Sorg, Tony Lloyd, Julie McCormick, Chuck Puhl and Paula Hauenstein
November 3rd 2003 minutes distributed: Motion to approve Joe R. 2nd Lori H., Minutes approved.
New Business: The possibility of Mite Travel coming back next year, Board to continue watching to see if this does happen. Board realizes there is ice not being used, problems are with the schedulers and teams just not using it.
PeeWee A Blue Team were winners of their Silver Stick Tournament- Congratulations!
Pee-Wee A Team came in 2nd place at their Silver Stick Tournament- Congratulations!
Vice-president: -Don Manders –Nothing new brought to his attention, everything seems to be running smooth.
Rules and Discipline - Ken Krider-The matter of the Monroe ’89 Bantam AA team filing a complaint about the ’89 Bantam AA Elite team seems to have only been a “RUMOR” nothing has come of this.
A letter will be presented to the board in January from the Rules and Discipline Committee about the incident involving 1 coach striking a player at two different levels. This Board has been waiting for this since last year, this needs to be resolved NOW!
Treasurer- Mark Kennedy-Absent-Mark gave Dave the Profit/Loss Statement to pass out.
Scheduler-Tom Lopez – Absent-Joe reports problems between Tom Lopez, Pat Heldt and Kathy LaVoy about who has what ice is being worked on. The Board is looking to buy a program that all parties will be able to use so that these problems can be avoided in the future. Teams will be charged for ice whether they use it or not, unless they contact Tom Lopez telling him it is available far enough in advance so that he may be able to sell it to another team.
Finance- Mark Korn-Absent
Coaching director- Bob Felser-Absent
Equipment- Lori Heldt –Brought up the issue of what we do with jerseys we no longer use. Suggest we give jerseys to some organizations that could use them. Also we could give one to all who sponsors these teams.
Public Relations - Todd Koback- Don states that Todd still looking into new designs for possible jersey changes for the Travel Teams (Not All-Star or Buckeye Teams).
