Minutes for House Board Meeting on July 12, 2004

7:10 Meeting was called to order by Harold St.John.

Board Members in attendance were Harold St.John, Jan Cone, Sharon DuVall, Karen Ward, Chris Easton, and Donna Momsen. Visitors were Shawnna Easton, Joe Reynolds, and Mark Kennedy.

Harold St.John asked for a motion to accept the Minutes from the June 14, 2004 Meeting and it was seconded by Jan Cone and passed unanimously.

First order of business: Donna Momsen spoke on outstanding checks from 2001 not as yet cashed.

Second order of business: Karen Ward spoke on Board Members and Visitors sign in sheet.

Third order of business: Jan Cone spoke on scheduling. Joe Reynolds spoke on scheduling of Sports Arena ice also.

Fourth order of business: Sharon DuVall spoke on the cleaning, repairing and painting of all lockers. A special THANK YOU goes out to the whole DuVall Family for their time spent at Tamo this summer. Joe Reynolds spoke on the purchase of odd jerseys by travel coaches. Sharon DuVall was asked to investigate the number of pennies we have and the cost to purchase new ones. Sharon is also drafting a letter for all coaches to sign when they receive there goalie equipment.

Fifth order of business: Chris Easton and Harold St.John need to go over evaluation sheets and draft letter to all returning coaches by registration day. Mark Kennedy will address the rules on House and Travel team try-outs. Chris Easton has a clinic for him and Harold St.John to attend in September.

Sixth order of business: Harold St.John wanted to make sure everyone on the Board got keys to the office. He also brought a motion before the Board to purchase pucks. Jan Cone seconded the motion and a unanimous decision followed. Harold spoke on the fall registration dates and all the things that would be going on at Tamo at the same time.

Old Business was called for and Jan Cone asked about Nathan Foote and Shawnna Easton gave the info to her. Shawnna Easton talked with Donna Momsen on last years receipts.

New Business was called for and Joe Reynolds asked for all Board Members E-Mail addresses and phone numbers and Harold St.John gave them to him. Joe Reynolds spoke on the jerseys and sponsors names to be put on them. He spoke on the house phone line and the Executive Board Members that were there voted to do away with the line. Joe Reynolds is talking with someone from ProMedica who would like to get into youth hockey.
